Cycle Omania starts a new service – Rent Bike
We are delighted to introduce a new and long-awaited service to our customers in Oman, specifically the Muscat area. A new bike rental branch, or what we call Rent Bike (by CycleOmania) RentBikeCO.
We hope this will increase awareness, wellness, and community, and promote the joy of riding.
Anyone who has been riding bikes for a while will tell you without a shadow of a doubt about the benefits of riding including but not limited to stress relief, overall well-being, higher energy level, better performance at work and other areas of life, etc.
What is in the plans?:
To begin with, there will be the option to visit the store, choose and pick up the bike you like, and eventually return it to the store according to the agreement.
We are currently negotiating and evaluating all the possible pickup/drop/delivery options.
We start with basic adult and children’s bikes, simply for the pleasure of riding around town and community. Eventually, we will expand to professional bikes for road racing and mountain racing.
How does it work?:
We have done everything to streamline the process so that (you) our customers can enjoy the pleasure of renting a bike.
Our website lists all the available bikes available by category so that you can easily find what you want. You can sort the bikes by rental price, popularity, and other options as well.
Once you find a bike you would like to rent, you can add it to the shopping cart. You may also want to rent other items (that are rentable) or purchase items that are needed for bike use but are too personal to rent. Once you are ready, you can go to the shopping cart page and either log into your account (previously created) or you can create a new account to check out your order. You then pay for your bike and pick it up at the time chosen.
How long can one rent a bike for?:
The bike can be rented for a day, a few days, a week, or up to a month. Prices and standard packages for the rental bike will vary according to the rental period length.
What if you like the bike you rented and want to keep it?
Well, it happens sometimes that you may like the bike you rented very much. We have thought about that too! So in this situation, you can either purchase the bike you are riding at a discount based on it’s depreciated asset value, or we can order a new bike for you if the bike is still available from our suppliers.
What is the condition of the rental bikes?:
Every bike is serviced before it is put up for rental. It is checked for safety, performance, and readiness as well. When the bike is returned, it is put through our shop and it is cleaned again. After that, whatever needs to be tuned is tuned, whatever needs to be fixed is fixed, and whatever needs replacement is replaced so that the bike can be rental-ready as soon as possible.
