What types bikes do you rent?
We plan to rent all types of bikes. From basic city bikes, to mountain bikes. If you look at our rental list and you do not find what you want, it may be that it is rented out or a bike we have not yet acquired, but it will soon be in the list.
Do you rent other items or just bicycles?
Actually we rent bike related items that we know our customers may like to rent. From rear Child Seats, to tow trailers for children, to advanced lights etc. If you do not see an item on our rental and it is related to bicycles, we will most likely have it soon.
Do I have to pay to reserve a rental product?
Yes, you do have to pay to reserve a bike. Because rental and rental/reservation is on ‘first-come-first-served’ basis. To ensure that you get your desired rental product, it is recommended that you make your payment within 60 minutes of checking out.
After 60 minutes, we will make the product available for other customers to rent.
Should I pay online or at the store?
Currently online payments are disabled until we have in place a more secure payment portal through a reputable payment company, so it is preferred that you visit the store to make payments or to send us a WhatsApp message so that we can send you our business bank account for direct bank transfer.
Is your website secure?
Yep! On any page where we ask you to enter your address, phone number, or credit card information, we use secure socket layer (SSL) to encrypt the communication.
Hoewer, we do not collect payment information (debit or credit cards) via our website. That is why we offer alternate payment method.
How early can I pick up my rental product?
Once your payment has been verified, you can pick up the rental as soon as your rental "time" starts... maybe a few minutes earlier (if it is after the store opening hours).
How long can I keep the rental product?
You can keep the rented product up until it's rental time expires. It needs to be returned before or at rental expiry time. Due to possibility of there being customers in the store, there may be a slight delay on our part, but as long as the rented item enters the store no later than 10 minutes after past it's return time.
Is there a penalty if I return the rented product late?
Yes there is a penalty. Since some products are pre-booked with intention to rent out after you return the product, we will not be able to rent it out to the next customer who pre-booked. Therefore we charge a fee based on lost opportunity and of course standard hourly rental fee.
Can I rent a Kayak from your store?
Seriously now....??? No you cannot rent a kayak or a cat or a dog... but we're sure you can find other stores that will allow you to rent at least the kayak, and some people may allow you to keep their dog while they travel, they may even pay you for the dog's upkeep 🙂
