Overview

We understand that from time to time things happen, you may have a lot on your mind and make hasty decisions. Or something may happen out of your control that requires refunds and/or returns.

Since we are dealing with rentals, refunds, and returns can be a little confusing. But we will try to make it as simple and as straightforward as possible.

Payments

Currently, payments are made at the store at the time of bike collection, there is no need to worry about refund of advance in-store payments or online pre-payments. However, very shortly, it will be necessary to pay and advance online to secure your rental booking. The advance payment and refund terms will be re-written then.

Security Deposits

To rent any item, whether it be a bicycle or another accessory, a security deposit is required. This deposit is fully refundable should you return all of the rented items in the same condition they were rented out to you.

However, any damage to the rented items or loss thereof will require compensation following the damage and/or loss. In this case, you may lose a part or all of the security deposit that you put at the beginning of the agreed rental period. If the loss and/or damage is worth more than the security deposit, you will be required to pay more to cover the repairs and/or replacement of the damaged and/or lost item.

Refunds for Early Returns

If you book/rent a product and wish to return it much earlier than the booked period, there will be a lost opportunity fee to compensate for the time that the item could have been rented but was not rented because it was marked as booked for you.

However, if you had booked a rental bike or item for a very short period and returned within that time or less, we will only charge for the time used as long as the time is more than 50% of the booked time and more than 1 hour. For example, if you have booked/rented an item for 6 hours, but you choose to return it in 5 hours, we will only charge for 5 hours.

But if you booked for 6 hours and chose to return in 2 hours, then we will charge for 3 hours (50%) of the time. plus 50% loss rental opportunity time. Which will result in charges for 4.5 hours charges in total.

If you booked an item that was in use (booked by someone else), and was supposed to be returned before your pickup day, however, the item had to undergo maintenance or was returned later than expected, we will offer you another (similar) product and if you are not happy, we will refund your payments (excluding transfer fees and elated VAT)

Depending on whether you paid only the security deposit or the security deposit and partial rental payment. We will deduct the above-mentioned percentage and give you back the balance, or you may have to add to pay the balance should the cost amount exceed the security deposit amount.

Refund Payment Methods

SAME-DAY REFUNDS

Same-day refunds are possible for cash and swipe payments made on the same day as rental pickup. This means if you paid and picked up an item between 9 am and 8 pm on a day, a refund can be processed in like payment form before the shop closes at 9 pm. There may be transaction swipe transaction fees (for swipe payments usually 1.5% to 2.5%) and recalculation of VAT.

For successful swipe reversed transactions, you will have a receipt in your hand to use, if it is needed to follow up with your bank should there be delays.

POST- RENTAL DAY REFUNDS

Any refunds are to be done past 9 pm, which turns into records closing time. Will be refunded either in like payments (cash for cash if available) or local bank transfer for cash and swipe payments. Double swipe transaction fees may be incurred for swipe payments and single transaction fees may be incurred for payments received in cash and refunds done via local bank transfer.

Our official business account is with Oman Arab Bank. This means that most if not all transfers to OAB accounts are free (there may be VAT deduction for transactions), but to other banks, the fees vary from 0.500 Baisas + VAT to 1.500 Rials + VAT
